Description ah. wow. going thru an old folder full of screenshots, and found this. i remember this. this waz one of my first screenshots i ever took.

when i got my job at aohell, around may of twothouzandtwo, and a month later, bought my first, very own computer from this dude that worked there, for four hundred bucks, and he threw in a set of altek lanzing speakerz for fifty bucks, and they sounded phuking great... compared to what i had previously. it waz a two.one system, so two small speakerz, and a subwoofer, and i waz rockin hardcore. and when i told him i would buy the computer from him, we had been talking about windowz xp, and how cool it looked, but he said the computer would have windowz ninetyeight on it, and i said that waz fine, that's what i had been uzing on mom'z old computer. so, he brought it to my house, and we hooked it up, and started it up, and i saw the boot screen for windowz xp, and i went apeshyt. he said hiz little brother cracked it, and put it on there. i waz ecstatik. i couldn't wait to start phukin around with it. and the computer wazn't bad, it waz pretty fast, compared to mom'z. and windowz xp. so cool. so i started clicking everything i could find, just to see how it worked and looked. oh, it waz so cool. even just the folder iconz. but, when i had windowz ninetyeight, i alwayz changed the colourz, so, with xp, i couldn't wait to start changing colourz. i tried, but it wouldn't change, what i soon found out, waz the vizualstyle. so i started searching for vizualstylez. i found stylexp, but didn't like it much, but i liked the vizualstylez it came with, so i kept them, got rid of stylexp, and found a patch, so i could keep my stylez. it wazn't long till i discovered the coolest vizualstylez in the world, by wb skinner. oh, i waz immediately addicted. they were so unuzual, so alien, so unlike any of the other flat, boring, colourless stylez i had seen before. theze had shape, depth, colour, style, transparency, texture... they were the coolest thingz i had ever seen. not only could you now 'skin' windowz, but you could make it look like this? phukin, sign me up. i'm sold. and... they're free. well, phuk this, that's the best thing i've ever gotten for free, hell, i phelt like i had just won some unknown alien lottery or something. so i phigured out how to take screenshots, and i would save my works of art. that time waz full of discovery and amazement. there waz a point where i waz offline, so i would walk across the street to the library, with a floppy disk in my pocket, and download the latest skinner style, and walk home, and open it, and drool. not only waz it art, it waz interactive art. the next best thing since videogamez, but this looked so much cooler, and you could customize it, to make it your way. the universe had handed me a new form of art, a new way to express myself. ever since skinner stopped skinning, about a year after that, well, i've never seen anything like them ever since. i would pay a billion dollarz for a new skinner style. i'd give anything. but, sadly, the whole computer world seemz to have left me, skinner stylez, and customization az a whole, in the dust. but you'll never take my skinner stylez and my windowz xp disk from me. and, unless you have something cooler than what i have, i ain't switchin. i'd love to learn how to skin, so i could pick up where skinner left off. when my company starts, i'm going to create my own operating system, and it will come with skinner'z stylez, and whatever stylez i make, and will be fully customizable, and will cost a hell of alot less than windowz, and work a phuk of alot better, i don't care what anyone sayz. and i'm going to hire people to learn how to skin, and make some awesome stylez. that pheeling i got when i saw my first skinner style, will happen again. i will bring 'art' back to your desktop.

anyway, this screenshot waz taken on july twentieth (rayne'z time, seven:twenty), twothouzandthree, and ten:thirteen am. i know the skinz don't all match, but i waz so overwhelmed with vizual candygoo, that i just couldn't decide on one thing. this iz where my desktop style started. and, while the little thingz have evolved over time, the skinner stylez have stayed the same. i'm quite proud of this screenshot, and i really had a great time going thru my first screenshots, and taking a trip down the memory lane of skinning.

so, thank you, skinner, wherever you are, for being, by far, the coolest skinner to ever click a mouse. i will alwayz remember that pheeling, and the first skin of yourz i ever saw, waz abraxis. i will never forget that. i've done alot, seen alot, been thru alot, and alot haz changed since thoze dayz, but my obsession for skinner stylez... well... that will never change. take care, man.

(update) ...and still, to this day, whenever i apply abraxis, or any other skinner style, they still look az fresh, new, amazing, and stunningly artistik az the day i first saw each of them. the look and pheeling of each style, and each colour scheme, will never grow old. and, thankfully, with computerz, the colourz never fade. i still wonder why i'm apparently the only one in the world who lovez skinner'z stylez this much.
