Description
Tales tell of a twisted band of abominations that roam the land, spreading their vile songs to infest towns and corrupt souls. Wherever this horrid group strikes, death and destruction are soon to follow. Though they are monstrous creatures now, the members of this foul band were actually once human. The stories say that they were a traveling band that went from town to town in order to perform and entertain. In truth, though, they were nothing more than talented thieves, using their performances to distract the people while they robbed them blind. Their tricks and charm were legendary, as they fooled entire crowds into believing them as nothing more than simple musicians, even as their infamy grew with each heist. For years they looted and robbed, gaining both treasure and enemies with each passing day. Many wondered if their spree would ever stop, if they would finally call it quits or if the gallows would bring an end to their careers. No one could have predicted the true fate of this infamous band. During a heist on a wealthy collector, the band of thieves happened to snag a rather strange music box in their haul. They knew not what it was, only that it looked expensive and that it would fetch a fair price. Little did they know that it was a Cantatio Daemonum, a vessel for the infernal Voices. They only realized this when they returned to camp, and one of the members opened the box. Brought forth by the screeching tune of the device, the Voices came forth and offered the gathered musicians a single wish. Still celebrating from their recent victory, the band did not realize the danger of this offer and plunged ahead recklessly. Since they enjoyed their life of music and trickery, they wished that they could live this life forever, and the Voices began to sing. At first the musicians believed the song would give them immortality, but it unfortunately brought much more with it. The music began to warp their flesh and tear at their minds. Their bodies were mangled and twisted as the song altered their sheer existence. In the end, the members emerged as horrid abominations, their human bodies and minds forever lost. Infused with infernal powers, they could indeed now live the life of music and thievery forever, but not in the way they had imagined. They would not be stealing gold and jewels from the gullible, but instead blood and souls from the living.Chelloath is a member of the demonic band, scouring the land for souls and blood. She performs with them to bring about cataclysms and great suffering, but she is no pushover on her own. With her music, Chelloath is capable of targeting and stimulating the nervous system of a listener. By using the right tones, pitches and tunes, she can induce pain or pleasure in her victims. This effect can be used on the entire body or it can be targeted to very specific points and spots. While a screeching song can leave her prey writhing in agony, she often uses her abilities to spread bliss and comfort. Though this tendency of hers may sound merciful, her insidious nature turns this pleasure-inducing power into a cruel weapon. With a blissful song, she can easily lure victims into the claws of the band, making them blindly follow the pleasing music. So caught up in the wonderful feeling, victims are hardly aware of their horrid fate, even as the band begins to feed on their blood and soul. With precise control, she can use the same sensation to dull minds and numb limbs, easily turning the strongest of fighters into useless, fumbling fools. When it comes to pain, she knows how to wield it quite well. Deafening, grating songs can torture entire crowds, while pinpoint bursts of agony can cripple attackers and disarm foes. When caught up in her own performance, Chelloath will use a combination of pain and pleasure to further torment her prey. Euphoric highs make the sudden bursts of pain even more excruciating, and the sudden shifts of sensation make even the thought of escape difficult.
Of all the members, Chelloath is the only one who does not talk normally. Due to her bizarre jaw structure (or lack thereof), she can only speak in airy howls and moans. Though her speech is unintelligible to all others, the rest of the band is able to understand her perfectly and act as if she had a normal voice like everyone else. Outside of performances, Chelloath is patient and reserved, taking everything slowly and never speaking unless she has something to say. While some may see this silent, slow pace as timidness or weakness, Chelloath's ways have made her Malstro's left hand, second only to Writhem. If he ever needs to send someone on an important solo job, Chelloath is his go to.

Thanks! Don't be too hard on yourself, as we all have to start somewhere! Cliche as it sounds, time and practice does a lot of good. I certainly didn't start off with things like this! Just by drawing over and over again, and trying out different things, you improve yourself in ways that may be hard for you to notice at first, but they are happening! Just keep working at it, and in time you will find yourself amazed by what you have done!
