Description
While it is indeed true that becoming a copromancer will destroy your social life, that does not always mean that you will remain alone. Humans and other species may be disgusted by the stench and appearance, but other beings may find it quite pleasant! Worms, flies, beetles and other invertebrates can become good friends and invaluable allies, and a smart copromancer will know how to use this to their advantage. Take this fellow here! He isn't letting his foul composition bring him down! In fact, becoming a copromancer has allowed him to meet one of his bestest friends! With them working together, they are an unstoppable pair! With the help of his dung beetle friend, he can now roll across the landscape at incredible speeds and can focus more on fighting and eating while his partner takes care of the movement parts. In return, he helps his buddy out by making him the most attractive bachelor around to all the lady dung beetles. Just wait til they feast their eyes on this impressive heap! As a wingman, he has helped his beetle friend find several mates and allowed him to raise dozens of young larvae. Some may think having those little guys eating you from the inside out would be unpleasant, but it is not so bad. Eventually they will grow up and move out, and there is always fresh piles laying around to patch up the holes.--------------------------------------------------------------------
I couldn't help myself. I am sorry.

Darn! So close to a five turd rating, but it seems like I fouled it in the end there!

Oh please. This is very well a 5-turd drawing. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Wipe away any doubt from your mind that tells you otherwise. This is far from a brown mark on your reputation. You have yet to dump anything truly foul on us. And I'm not fudging the truth, there's no need to drag your drawings through a mudhole. 3-and-a-half is not nearly a huge enough score - 1.5 stars seem to have been pinched off. Though I will admit some parts of the creature look more like soil than anything else. Just a dirty brown splatter. Admittedly this thing is a little bit corny and cheesy, but it still came out ok. This monster reeks of menace. It's certainly not a being that I would ever allow to drop my kids off at the pool, I can tell you that. Just remember to push harder; your work can only improve. And this sentence is also a poop joke.

Okay, okay! You win! You win! Just take anything you want! No more! I can't even think of a pun to reply back with, because I am pretty sure you took them all! Have mercy!

Copromancer is one of the best words I've ever read. Is that a pre-existing concept of magic or is that original thing you made up?

It is quite the fun word! When I went with the idea of copromancy, I had just come up with it by recalling the term "coprophagy," and thought it would fit quite well with the mancer sounding names. As far as I know, I don't think there is a pre-existing magical art behind this term, though some research did link to something that had to do with reading one's fortune with their excrement. I would like to think I came up with it, but knowing my luck, someone else probably beat me to the punch.

Indeed! I always enjoy stories of friendship involving creatures and things that one wouldn't expect to be friendly.

Thanks! The detailing did get a bit crazy with this one. Outlining and coloring all the goop, chunks and teeth took quite a bit of time!
