Description When The Patchwork King was finally slayed by Brohm, and the Iron Legion was pushed back, what was left of the country was ruin and wreckage. Castles turned to rubble, towns nothing but ash, and the people who survived the brutal war now had to face a harsher reality. The country tried its best to pick up the pieces and restore normality, but with the nation in shambles, it was difficult. There was some whispers that said that The Patchwork King may have won in the end, that the nation  would never recover. But from the ashes and debris rose four men who did not shy away from the challenge and chaos. These four swore to rebuild the nation and to bring peace back to the land. One took up construction and repair of towns and cities. Another took to books and wisdom to devise new systems and plans. One looked after resource gathering, so that construction could run smoothly and families would have food on the table. The last turned to justice and peace, making sure to snuff out crime whenever it tried to prey on the weak. The four led armies of men and women to complete these grand tasks, soon having homes springing from the ground and fields filled with food.  The country began to heal, and soon the shadow of the war began to fade. People had hope once again. As the rebuilding efforts continued, more and more people and rulers bestowed the four with power, wealth and influence. With the four being the backbone of the revival, the people had no problem pushing off all responsibility and effort onto the four. Everyone believed that if these four remained in power, the nation would go beyond normality and soon become a superpower to the rest of the world. It wouldn't be long before the four had fixed everything, and life would continue as it was before. But things were brewing, things that no one expected.

The four men who had taken on such great responsibility and power were now becoming consumed by the work. Their devotion to the cause was turning more and more into desire. They had the power to do anything, use anything, or build anything. And as the nation grew closer and closer to normality, the four wanted more. They didn't want their influence to end, and they didn't just want to be a normal world anymore. And on one day, unknown to the rest of the world, the four men came together and became the Armed Lords. Together they would continue their efforts and create a utopia that would shadow the rest of the world. They would reign supreme and all would be in awe of their conquests. But it didn't stop there, as the four were soon visited by beings from above. The angels had come.

The Gorged Angel came to the man known as Lord Laburis. Laburis was responsible for gathering and harvesting resources for rebuilding. He led armies of men and women to plow new fields and to fell forests for lumber. He opened new mines and soon had iron goods flowing back into cities and towns. Construction materials were sent to his fellow Lord, so that the rebuilding would never slow. But all this work wasn't enough for him, he wanted more. His harvests brought wealth and prosperity, as well as fueling their Utopian dream. He needed more goods, more resources in order to bring their dream to reality, and the Gorged Angel knew this. This angel of abundance offered Laburis the power to fuel this dream, to never run out of resources to mine and harvest. With this, the Armed Lords' dream would never falter or slow. Laburis agreed and gave his soul to the angel, who transformed it into a red crystal and infused it into a powerful ax. The other three joined with their respective angels and sold their souls as well. With new powers and weapons in hand, the Armed Lords strode out into the world and started to build their utopia.

Worry came to the people when Laburis called for the cutting of entire forests and the destruction of entire mountains. The idea of consuming all and leaving none made people concerned for the future. How would they hunt? How would they get more if needed? Lord Laburis assured the people he knew what he was doing, and they got to work stripping the land barren. As the trees fell and the mountains grew hollow, people worried even more. But one day, the workers awoke to find full grown trees back in the cut forests, and the mines now rich in ore and stone. The people saw this as a miracle, and believed that the Armed Lords had the gods on their side. But people began to notice that citizens were missing from the city where Laburis lived. Jails from all over the country were turning up empty, after being filled by the other Lord. Things quickly became horrifying as the harvest of the new forest continued. One of the trees of the new forest screamed and bleed when cut down, sending workers fleeing in a panic. One miner in the restocked mountains punched a hole into an air pocket that released an explosion of moans and cries. Suspicious, spies invaded Laburis' domain and found the awful truth behind the miracle. Laburis' desire to consume had turned literal, as he feasted on food and the flesh of man. Screaming victims had their souls sucked from their bodies into his iron maw, and their flesh followed shortly after. After feasting on dozens of victims, he snuck out into the night and vomited the souls into the barren land. Within moments, the tormented spirits grew into a forest of trees and brush, trapped within the living vegetation. Workers of the mountains informed the others that Laburis had been there when the mountains had refilled themselves as well. Humanity would construct this utopia, literally.

Warriors came quickly to subdue their maddened lord, but he proved too powerful to bring down. His mighty ax cleaved through all defenses, slicing through flesh, bone and iron with ease. His iron maw sucked in the souls of those he caught, and vomited out blasts of blood, flesh and energy. The void within his mask even consumed metal as well, allowing Laburis to devour the weapons of his attackers. Soon the men who came to stop him were nothing but trees and rocks, fuel for the ravenous dream. Lord Laburis, like the other Armed Lords, seemed unstoppable.

But in this dire time, Brohm once again arrived to save the day. Calling together a band of heroes, he faced off against the Armed Lords and was able to defeat them. Taking their weapons and souls, the heroes took them away to a place the Armed Lords would never find them. Sealing them away with powerful wards and spells, the weapons were forever lost to the Armed Lords, who were left to escape into the wilderness, powerless and lost.

It has been decades since the fall of the Armed Lords, and many believe that they died in the wilderness. But some say that something of them remains, forever searching for the weapons and souls that gave them such power and purpose.

The forest that Laburis grew out of souls and humanity remains off-limits to all. While it has brought life and prosperity back to the area, the people make sure to only use the natural trees. Though it looks like any other forest, people believe that there are things that are wrong with it. Somethings that are just...off. The mines he created have been collapsed and sealed, never to see human life again. The stories of those tunnels are told around campfires and sure to scare all who hear them.
