She was a gorgeous woman, one whose looks were legendary throughout the land. She had been the desire of every man and the envy of every woman. Suitors lined up for miles in hopes of wooing her, and she basked in the admiration and adoration that always surrounded her. For years, she enjoyed the endless worship and favor, and she loved the attention that her looks caught. Sadly, the only thing her appearance and charm couldn't seduce was time itself. As years rolled on, the weight of time and age began to grow on her, and her stunning appearance was beginning to feel the effects. The number of suitors and lovers began to fall, and the admiration she bathed in began to weaken and dull. Though she still held great power and beauty, reality showed her that it would not last forever. In time, the number of suitors would dwindle, and she would become just like the other old crones. Desperate to stop this downfall, she found salvation in an ancient relic that lay within forbidden halls. She sought out the strange mirror and wielded its power to bring back her youthful beauty. In mere minutes, the great artifact erased the years of wear from her skin and body, turning her back into gorgeous woman she had been so long ago. Enthralled by its power and her return to godhood, she clung to the mirror. She used its power again and again to preserve her beauty and to ensure she never fell to the curse of old age. Unfortunately, her obsession with the relic and the attention it brought her made her oblivious to its effects. With each passing day, the mirror began to change her, slowly warping her into something beautiful yet alien. As the effects grew more foul and unnatural, she tried to break free from its influence, but the cost of such separation would doom her to a life of grotesqueness. In the end, Pride's Mirror consumed her and she become a beast of horrid beauty and vile rage.

At first, one may be tricked by the creature that now stalks the land, as she appears as a pale being with an immaculate appearance. The mirror that consumed her had slowly turned her skin into the finest of porcelain, giving her the look of a white, flawless doll. Her gleaming skin and silvery hair still enraptures those who see her, but they do not know what lies beneath that gorgeous shell. While her skin was becoming porcelain, her flesh slowly began to fester and rot. Her insides boiled and decayed, a foul odor emanating from her body like the reek of an abandoned morgue. With her flawless skin intact, this foul body is hidden and contained, but keeping such appearances is not an easy task. The porcelain skin she wears is extremely delicate, as fragile as a paper-thin pane of glass. The slightest bump and nudge can shatter it, sending spiderwebs of cracks throughout her entire body. Even the simple act of walking is a difficult feat for her, as a hard step or stumble can break her. Often an enthralled admirer will approach and touch her, causing this horrid transformation to take place. In an instant, her shell will crack and burst. The putrid flesh beneath will be revealed, as her porcelain skin crumbles away. Vile spines will erupt from her back, and mangled claws will emerge from her hands and feat. The flawless face she wears will drop away, the gleaming mirror of Pride taking its place. Reflective eyes will appear on her malformed flesh and a great fetid odor will engulf the land. What was once a godly being of beauty will become a horrid beast of decay and pus. While many are terrified by this sudden transformation, she will be the one hit hardest by it, and she does not take it well.

With her looks now gone, she will devolve into a thing of madness and violence. With razor talons and great strength, she will lash out at those around her, blaming them for her hideous appearance. Like a rabid animal, she will rip her victims to shreds and will demolish entire towns in her fury. Though her anger may seem mindless, there is a thing she seeks during this violent rampage. The young and beautiful are the targets of her hatred, those whose appearances remind her of those lost years of her life. Be it man or woman, she will hunt them down and seize them in her sickly claws. She will then bring them towards her reflective face, forcing them to gaze into Pride's Mirror. Those who look into it shall find her reflection gazing back, and eye contact with her former ghastly self will begin the horrid process. In mere moments, their life force will be drained from their bodies, the potential years of their future transferred into her. They shall rapidly age in seconds, reduced to withered, ancient husks in the blink of an eye. Once she has drained her victims of their youth and looks, she shall discard the frail, broken being and search for more. It is through this brutal harvest that she gains the energy required to return to her beautiful self. Once she has drained enough years from her victims, her porcelain skin will regrow and she shall become that flawless doll once more. The reclamation of her beauty shall appease her and her violent rampage shall come to an end. She shall leave behind the broken town and aged remains, and continue her endless pilgrimage. Such a mysterious quest may never be understood or fulfilled, as fate will strike cruelly once again and she shall become that wretched monstrosity again and again.

Here is the second artifact of the sins! Pride's Mirror was the one I quickly came up with after Envy's Hand, and the rest soon followed (though some were not so easy to come up with as others).
