Description
Reknir - Dragon Knight - Reknir started off just like any other dragon, eating livestock and burning villages. He followed the footsteps of his father, who also burned villages and ate livestock. This was his lifestyle for many years, terrorizing the countryside and fending off knights who would try to slay him. Though tough and confident in these days, he always worried about they day he would face a knight he could not best. When he heard about the Knights of the Wrong Table, he feared that the order would be the ones that succeeded in killing him. He traveled to their headquarters with the mission to destroy them and burn their remains to ash. He expected to be greeted with swords and spears, but when he arrived, he faced a quill and an application form. The order offered him knighthood, which was a ridiculous concept to him. Though he saw it as silly, he was curious enough to sign up just to see what it was like. He expected it to be a joke that would soon fall apart, but it soon became clear that was not the case. The order truly wanted to help the world and wanted him to be a part of it. Eventually he warmed up to the order and started to like being seen as a hero and not menace.
- Attitude - As a dragon, he is bold and aggressive. He is eager to run headfirst into a situation and solve everything with fire and teeth. He has quite a temper and can get mad quickly when people insult him or his kind, or when things aren't going his way. In the beginning, he didn't like to be told what to do and frequently ignored authority. Though he is doing better with the order, this behavior applies to everyone else he encounters. Though he is becoming more open to the order, he does not want other dragons to know that he is a knight, especially his family. Whenever he encounters another dragon, he is quick to lose the armor and put on an act, pretending to do normal dragon things. If the order is around during this time, he will distance himself and deny his relation with them. Sometimes he will even pretend to turn on them in order to prove he is not a knight. But after the other dragon has left, he will get back with the order. As time goes on, he has begun questioning his past ways, when he responded to a hostile world with more violence and carnage.
- Relations - Due to his aggression and temper, initially he didn't fit in too well with the others. But eventually he warmed up to the others and is starting to be more friendly. Him and Rodrick, though, absolutely hate each other. It doesn't help that knights like Rodrick are responsible for a lot of dead dragons. He has made friends with Cobalus, whom he sees a sense of kinship in since the two are considered monstrous by humanity's standards. And oddly enough, he is quite kind and protective towards Sridah the gorgon. With his temper issues and aggression, it seemed that he was the polar opposite of Sridah, who is extremely shy and scared of almost everything. Some think it is because he understands what it is like to be hated and hunted by all humanity, and feels sorry for Sridah, as she has faced the worst of it. Otis specifically thinks that Reknir sees a hidden strength in her, as she has the power to kill anything with a glance, yet she loathes the idea of violence and death. Even after humans have sent killer after killer at her, she has yet to respond with anger and rage, which he had done for his whole life.
- Partner - Otis - After a few missions together, the two have become inseparable, with Otis always found sitting on his snout. Reknir is the fighter of the group, as Otis cannot fight at all. He is the one who takes on enemies and physically overcomes obstacles. Though he is not lacking in the brains department, he does rely on Otis' observations and ideas, as many of them are good. And with his temperament, he can easily become angry and make foolish errors. He is fiercely protective of Otis, always putting his safety first over his own. When faced with extremely dangerous scenarios, he will throw Otis from harm's way and take the hit. Anyone threatening or harming his friend is met with an unstoppable rage.
- Abilities - His main ability is that he can breathe fire, one that he uses quite frequently. The fire can vary from long streams of flame to explosive fireballs. This is his go-to weapon in the battlefield. As a dragon, he is immune to all heat and fire damage, able to slither through burning buildings without a problem. His scales give him a tough hide that is as strong as armor, making it difficult to wound him with normal weapons. His serpentine form allows him to slither at surprising speeds and lash his body out like a whip.
- Tools - Mainly uses his fire breath, long serpentine body and teeth for battles. Wears a small amount of armor that is made from melted chunks of metal. Also sometimes carries a weapon made from the fusing of a dozen swords together. This is not used very often.
- Weaknesses - Reknir has very few weaknesses, due to his natural abilities. Though tough, his scales can be breached if enough force is put into the attack. Due to his long serpentine body, he has a hard time covering all parts of his form, allowing enemies to get in and land some hits before he can react.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Truth be told, Reknir is more of a Lindworm than a dragon.

Well, there are more teeth in his mouth than knights in his world. Or it seems so.

With the rate they can grow back, I think he's got plenty of teeth to go around.
