Description
When a Hydromancer succumbs to the sickness, they shall give themselves to the ocean. Their lives on dry land shall be abandoned, and their humanity will be left upon the shores. Those that walk into the sea shall rarely ever be seen again by those they left behind, but those who sail these strange waters may catch glimpses of them. Of bizarre creatures of raw flesh and fluid, mimicking the life below in an impossible way. Their bodies and minds now warped beyond return, reduced to mere beasts that seek to return to the natural world. Some may turn to simple, grotesque animals, mindlessly following their instincts and hungers. Others are said to go beyond, growing and changing into things that do not belong above or below the water. Sailors speak of great leviathans that make the ocean churn and boil, massive abominations capable of swallowing ships whole. If such claims are true, none are sure. But many prefer not to think about it, and secretly hope that these lost mages are content with drifting through the open sea and eating simple fish...

Was thinking of weird hydromancer designs when I was reminded by an old Bogleech comic about barnacles. Decided to use that as an inspiration for this weirdo.
