This is the first playable version of the game !!Let me know what you're thinking about it and what I should change for the Final version !!

BTW people, I was the other guy involved in that project. I was mainly in charge of the graphics and the character movements while Evolvedweb did the programming and logics. We we're kinda late on that project so we had leave a few features behind in the long run. The good thing is that in the end, it all worked without crashing

A very nice game. Even though it was in French, I was able to understand a majority of it with my 2 years of French classes.
I would suggest adding shops, save points, and adding skill points to enhance certain things with your character.

The graphics are good, but it could use some smoother z-sorting. At least trim the roofs off houses neatly, and large enough; I made my shield stick through so many houses.
Diagonal movement would be good, also just a general step up in the pace of the game, everything seems rather slow.
I probably would've played it longer if it was in English too

For the graphics part..they're not perfect cause I worked more on the prog and I ran out of time... it's a school work... but the hero and monsters are good !
The LAG is caused by the fog.. maybe i'll remove it !
And finally for the language.. it could be nice if a good english/french speaker could help me cause my english is not enough good !
And what do you meen by smoother z-sorting ?

By 'smoother' I meant smooth the edges on the parts the player can go behind, there is jagged bits where you can see that its an image placed on a higher layer.
