I'd have to say this is one of the first decent shots I've gotten of one of these wolves at this particular zoo. They are in a heavily shaded area of huge pine trees that are at least about 4 stories tall. Normally they are moving around continously which also causes a problem
This time it was napping day and they rarely moved. If they did move it was only for a split second and they'd move their heads back down and sleep.Mexican Grey Wolf Canis lupus baileyi

Maybe it's just the high contrast B/W, but all of these seem to have a very strong texture in them.

I love the look of his fur. It looks very soft, and rubbable. He looks sad, in expression, but that might be because he just woke up.
