I've been waiting for the resurrection lilies to bloom in thoughts of making a new deviantID. They came up in the past week or so, since then I've have been trying to think of another way to do a self portrait with them
about the exif.. it's a bit wonky due to using live view mode
*makes mental note to exit off live view mode after setting up perfect shot*

Good photography skills, but this a cropped pic, right? it looks just a little bit pixelated from my end. Did you use both (digital) zoom and cropping?
It's only visible on a high density display though.

It's been sized down for display and has been slightly cropped but nothing to severe. It was taken with a 5D Mk II using the 24-105L lens. I'm running on 1920 by 1200 and it looks perfectly fine to me.

I see. I have 2048x1536 pixels (retina LCD display, that was the pixel density), but if I view it on my Acer display, it's fine!

They are really pretty ^_^ I believe they receive that name due to how they grow. In the beginning of the summer the leaves come up but without flowers. The leaves eventually die off and then in mid to late summer the stalks that produce the flowers pop up from the ground and within days the flowers bloom.

They are fairly common to see around here.. I've seen at lest half a dozen or more houses in the neighborhood that have them in their front yard
