Description
This is a new fiber frog I am working on. The body is a little over 6 inches from head to end and the back legs are about 9 inches when stretched out.Right now it has a base of white wool on the body and on the back legs. I'm currently working on beefing up the back legs as they are pretty scrawny

Is this the one where you had to replace the leg? He's so cute & cuddly looking already.

Yes this is the one but I didn't have to replace the leg it was the hole in the styrofoam that was the problem. I had to cut the wool loose around the leg closest to the body, filled the hole full of glue, and stuck the leg back in
I already have most of the front legs covered in wool but the most time consuming part is beefing up the legs so they aren't so scrawny looking.

Lol! I guess so. I would think it'd be filling out the body some, but frog legs are kind of scrawny anyway. I suppose it would be pretty tough to get them just right.

The body is made of styrofoam so its pretty much the shape it needs to be. The legs are only small wire so to get the full diameter of the legs it takes quite a bit of wool to wrap around and needle felt.

I know nothing of felting or any kind of needle work. It must be a nice past time though. I hear needle work & crocheting are relaxing.
