My take on the sleep pod, probably the bed of future space travelers where pressurized volume is a precious commodity and not to be wasted. Basically my take of the ship's hammock - heavy nylon mesh has rods inside of side-sleeves and slipped into channels on the sides of the sleep pod. A foam pillow is sewn inside the mesh panel. A fleece sleeping bag snaps along the edges to secure it in place. Overhead light with a power plug and a ventilation nozzle, and a tiny keypad on the wall that is your alarm clock and environmental control. Gray strips on the walls and headboard are Velcro, so you can stick things to your walls.

The headboard is also a kick-out panel if someone gets trapped inside.
