Description
This shot was taken in the desert north-east of Los Angeles. The lights of a small city created an interesting halo behind this large hill. Many stars also showed up in the background. More stars are visible in the full size photograph. Image was edited to remove noise, common in low-light long exposure shots on digital cameras.Related content

I love the simplicity and beauty of this image... very nice capture and composition... i would have put the hill more offcenter... but thats all objective to the artist... you definately have a good shot there
