Description
Before we begin our story, let's catch you up to speed. Winnie the Pooh got stuck while heading into Rabbit's House. After some negotiation and lots of shenanigans, it was agreed that they would once again wait for Pooh to slim down then pull him free. Only one problem, Pooh wasn't dieting. While Rabbit was preoccupied with his butt, Pooh was inside having a secret smackeral of Rabbit's reserved honey. The last we saw of the stuck bear, he had been caught by Rabbit and the two were sharing what was left of the enormous honeypot.

Rabbit had given up. He had been outsmarted by the bear with very little brain. Usually he would flip out if a stuck Pooh was anywhere near food, but now it was no use. Rabbit was no longer going to keep pushing & pulling all day in hopes that he could somehow speed up Pooh's weightloss process. Instead he would just wait like everyone else. Whatever happened between now and the budge was out of his hands.

The new honey Pooh had snacked on combined with the honey that had gotten him stuck had doubled Pooh's weight drastically. There was so much honey in him now that his round bottom had ripped at the seam leaving a hole torn in the center of his butt. Pooh was constantly tearing but he never got properly fixed like the others. Whenever someone in the forest needed some stitching, they went to Kanga who was an expert at all things sewing. But despite Rabbit's constant warnings, Pooh always got preoccupied and forgot before the day was over. Well now there was nothing else to get preoccupied with. He had plenty of time now that he was just hanging there. The tightness squeezing the bear's belly nearly cut off all circulation to his backside. He couldn't feel the enormous hole that had spread down the center of his bulky butt. He just sat there kicking his feet trying to come up with a hum to pass the time.

Rabbit, who was out in his garden trying to ignore Pooh all together, couldn't get over his defeat. In frustration, he threw the rake he was holding down and went for a walk. Maybe a chat with Christopher Robin or Owl could take his mind off of everything going wrong in his life. Maybe seeing them would give him a renewed sense of purpose or at the very least a place to stay until his door was unplugged. As he reached the turn that led to the front of his house he tried his best to ignore that thing that was protruding from his front door. He did everything he could to look away but just like a scab you're not supposed to pick at,
the temptation was too great. He turned his head and faced that which had caused him so much humiliation. That's when he noticed the tear.

Rabbit tried not to care. It wasn't his fault that Pooh was in the mess he was in now. If Pooh had just listened to Rabbit about eating too much or got his thread properly stitched the first time Rabbit told him, then he'd be off bothering someone else. He shook his head and started walking away but suddenly felt a deep conviction in his heart. He was mad at Winnie the Pooh but could never find it in his heart to hate him. He was always lecturing Pooh because when it was all said & done, he cared about him. He loved Pooh and wanted nothing but the best for his bear buddy. He couldn't help that he was constantly hungry and Rabbit couldn't imagine how hungry he must have been sitting in that hole all that time. Rabbit continued on his walk but decided to go somewhere else besides Christopher Robin's & Owl's. He was going to pay Kanga a visit and get his friend the help he needed.
