OMG I can't believe that I did it xD.. I'm crazy nahBtw look. On this version I've used Photoshop, but nothing's changed, just more contrast and brightness and from now I'm using my logo at the bottom right corner... For copyright you know... I hope you'll like it, and for this time I'll call this Energy Cell, remember guys ?

Used some render settings - Glow GI and added onto the oiltank (I mean where it's coming) and put it on volumetric light It's cool try it...

Nice work, for the lighthing, use GI & Ambient oclusion an get the Light Kit Pro from GSG if you don't have it yet, it should help ya

Tnx, btw I've used GI & AO and Glow option and nothing, but I've used my own light, from the same program... And yes I have the GSG light pack 1.5 but I don't want to use it a lot...

I think you need to use some global illumination. That might be what he's talking about. Cuz with real life light bounces off, and in C4D unless you tell it to do that, it won't look right. Ie. you use GI to emulate the effect.
This does look great tho, I will admit I love it. I think the lighting works, and the metal texture looks pretty neat. The texture does appear a bit low res, but that's just nit picking.

If you find your lights are still looking really plain and dull, trying following my tutorial on "volumetric light". And combining that with "light fall off" **found under details tab of any light** you can make some seriously realistic looking lights.
Think of a light on the wall. It usually sits there in it's lamp shade, but it don't just give off a glow that lights up the room, the light will also burn onto the wall, making a sort of brighter spot. And the light will bend around the shade as well. So using those two things I mentioned you can reproduce most light settings.
Good luck. It takes practice to fool around with the settings till you're comfortable with it.

think of lighting and how lights bounce off, looks at lit objects and ull see what ur missing
