Before I say anything, I got a drawing app on my iPad and IT'S FREAKING AWESOME!!!!

Anyway, I was having some random ideas and came up with a potential web comic thing here that'll revolve around these two characters that I made. So here's what I have for an idea:

The girl on the left is Ally, who lives as a freshmen college student at her hometown of Cloverfield. She pertains to living a boring life and constantly picked on by the preps at college. One night, a random spaceship crash lands into her backyard and inside was a Martian girl (the one on the right) named Marcy, who's not only from another planet but another millennium away into the future. So now Ally has to put up rooming with a arrogant egocentric Martian girl until she can take her back to her home world. Hey! How fun could it be having adventures with an alien though??

Now my biggest concern about starting it is whether it should have a full on plot that ties in to Ally having to help Marcy get back home or should it be a bunch of random pages of just the life of Ally living with Marcy. So please, all I'm asking is for you all to decide on it.
