Someone asked how long does it take me to do a morph picture, around 2 months. Depending on what I have to do the morphing of the picture takes 15mins to an hour. Then I put it on the compost heap of morph pictures I have done. After 2 months or so I dig through the pile and I retouch some of them, toss out others and some get stuck back in the pile. I do this because it looked good at the time I finished it but after some aging and forgetting what it looked like I can look at them with new eyes.Related content

I wish I had your speed (15min to 1hr). I'm agonizingly slow. I probably spent 12-14 hours on each of my last morphs, and the BE aspect of my morphs didn't turn out as well.
I keep adding unnecessary and superfluous effects to everything. Redoing the lighting, redoing the shadows, redoing even the skin and cloth textures and colors.
But morphing is more art than science. I'm starting to believe that if you start overthinking things, and overdoing things, they usually get worse, rather than better.
What was my point? Did I have a point? I'm not sure ... but you do good work.

Keep working at it. Eventually you'll get the speed. A lot of getting fast at is not making mistakes at it. Eventually you'll look at a picture and know what will and won't work when morphing. What used to take 2 or 3 dozen attempts and crtl-Z now gets done on the first try. My first morph took me all day and it was pretty craptastic, now 16 years later I have trimmed the time down considerably. My really old stuff membersarea.bearchive.com/gall…
