Description
This is my first watercolor painting ever, it is supposed to be a Jackalope or a rabbit with antlers but everyone thinks it is a catI need a LOT of advice with watercolors, I manage to get the paper to bend a lot while IΒ΄m painting and I have to make millions of layers to get a strong, powerful color that also makes it very difficult to get thin but strong lines.
Materials: louvre watercolour studio (12 units) and louvre petit gris squirrel brushes (3 units)
I would REALLY like to hear your opinion and/or your advice.

Advice: If you need the color to be stronger, just put about a brush full of water on the paint (I'm assuming the paint is in solid form) and let it sit there for a few minutes, depending on how concentrated you want the pigment to be. Then wet the brush again and twist it into a point and dip that into the water that you put on the block of paint. This should have become thick and easy to pick up with the brush. Then you can use that to make a thin but strong line.
Opinion: The sky looks nice, the blue and purple are well done, and I like how the jackalope's eyes match the grass. However, I think the grass should have more texture (maybe use thin brush strokes of brown and yellow to highlight individual blades of grass) and it's fur looks a little scratchy (maybe not enough water on the brush?)
Anyway, I hope this was helpful, I like to offer advice when I can. If it was not, I am sorry.
