Up above is a scene from Quarantinevibes' Sanders Sides fanfic, "Liquid Courage", a story in which Virgil, after agreeing to help Logan out with a experiment, accidentally ingests a vial of a substance known as Liquid Courage which may not be actual alcohol but certainly still makes Virgil very tipsy!
What follows is a real laugh-out-loud fic as Virgil tries to drunkenly follow a to-do list and resolve the other Sides' current issues as best he can.
In this scene, Roman and Virgil (who is just starting to sober up) head to the imagination to follow through on a dare set by Janus to do something heroic involving a cliff and it was just so sweet and wholesome that I had to draw it!

Artists Note: There is some experimentation with the inking going on here (as well as general experimentation into how to translate the Sides/Thomas Sanders' face into my style; it only really started to click for me in how to draw them right at the end so I apologise for the inconsistency between pages!) as I've gotten pretty frustrated with the Turnip Pen at least when it comes to comic-making. The turnip pen forced me into the trap of trying to be as neat as possible which meant several hours spent cleaning up a page only for results to vary from, "Yeah, that looks really professional and cute!" to "Oh dear. I have accidentally removed all life from the original sketch and that arm is still looking really weird!" Not to mention it did me no favours in keeping characters/ perspective and anatomy looking consistent from page to page!
So I'm throwing up my hands and practicing with the oil paint brush and a more sketchier style instead! You heard it here first!
