And that's the truth! O_O (Just making a statement :3 )Lalala *rushrushrush* and yes, "MLE" is me, if you didn't already know that. I chose Near to be in this one because... he's very critical? I don't know. I just wanted to draw the stupid duck.
Anyway, I got the second part of the idea about Mello after being SPAMMED from the TV with commercials about buying chocolates and diamonds for v-day and how "YOU MUST BUY CHOCOLATES OR ELSE HE/SHE WILL HATE YOU FOR LIFE AND DUMP YOU ON VALENTINES DAY. YOU DON'T WANT THAT DO YOU?! THE GOVERNMENT WOULDN'T WANT THAT." I mean--- Well. You get the point. I hope. Unless you're in denial or something.
I'm one of those people who believe that Love is a stupid "emotion" basically caused by the chemicals in our bodies to tell us to mate and breed and make with the offpsring. Buuuut I guess, as humans, we all want to make it seem special and not have it portrayed just as an "animal instinct". I can rant all day about this. ANYWAY Enjoy your hallmark holiday! I'm going to enjoy my CHINESE NEW YEARS. You know, a holiday WITHOUT Hallmark influence. And you get free money 
I'm done bashing. :3 I'd say have a good day but you probably hate me already XD

Lol. I WOULD hate Valentine's Day but hey, free candy! (my parents buy us all candy. My siblings and I are very different ages but they don't want to seem like they're discriminating) No cards, though. I like Christmas, too. Probably because getting stuff is fun. Seriously, I can put up with spam commercials (well, obviously, as I don't watch very much at all) if it means candy and stuff.Oh, Chinese New Year has free money? Maybe I should celebrate that, too.

U know, I've watched the main anime & the rewrites & the movies thousands of times but I still don't get where these "Mello X Matt" rumors come from...
I mean...there R lots of yaoi for L& Light(I hate it! they're disgusting-I don't have a problem with yaoi, but for those 2 it's disgraceful...)& i can undrestand they're mostly because of that lame rainy episode, but for mello & Matt...what did I miss?

Wow. You made some good points. ...... but love is not a stupid emotion. There's so many ways to love someone, you know? Just cause I love my cousin or my mother does not mean I wish to mate with them. As for the Valentine's Day love... *shrug* I guess, If thats what you believe.

hmmmm what did i do on valentines day of 2010? i ran around yelling HAPPY SINGLES AWARENESS DAY! at every couple i saw. It was funny. And just because I am single doesn't mean that i don't want people to be happy with their significant other, i actually like getting candy and stuff. It was all from my friends tho. But who cares? I seriously think that we have commercialized too many holidays like V-day, christmas, halloween, st.patty's day, easter, ect. I actually like new years alot, even tho i was at home all day lol. well i guess my rant is over, except for one thing...MELLO YOU DON'T NEED THAT MUCH CHOCOLATE YOUR FINE WITHOUT IT YOU ADDICT! thanks ^^
