My goodness - 4 days and 65 layers later and this masterpiece has come to life!

This was a very interesting commission - It for sure stretched my limits and made for a fun challenge! I haven't done a whole ton of 'fan art' of sorts like this, especially not for EG. The lines being different colors was for sure harder - But I am really happy with the outcome along with the soft shading all around. Making them look wet was also a fun thing to figure out, but I got it! It's sort of a mix of the movie style and mine, which I believe I have found a good medium~ Also half way through the original sketch I realized their hair needed to look wet, so it isn't as poofy like it would be dry - and I am tellin' y'all. Trixie is going to need some great and powerful hairspray to get her ridiculously poofy and large hair back to that norm
I LOVE MLP, and do watch the Equestria Girls movies, and was super pumped to get this one done!
I did a simple background, with a simple pool tile upfront. It was supposed to be a simple piece - but what is the harm in a nice large pool!? That was also a very interesting new obstacle, but I really do enjoy what I have wrapped up here

Trixie and Starlight are just having some harmless summer fun in a pool - where are their swimsuits? Couldn't tell ya - girls are crazy man don't question em. Starlight is splashing poor Trixie in harmless best friend fun!
