Kung Fu Panda
I think I did about 4hrs research on the movie. 1 hour on Concepts and 7.5 hrs assembling the final piece.
It was made in Photoshop CS4 and I used 2 Photographic Textures that I made myself.

So this poster turned out a lot different than I had originally planned. I was going to have the Furious Five and all of the major characters but in the end it became overwhelmingly complex and nothing worked. Luckily out of the craziness came this design.

The poster background itself is the Dragon Scroll ... Shiny Gold and yellow .. and in it Po had seen himself .. Po of course being the primary figure in the poster is looking in on himself. To defeat evil, represented by Tai Lung who is inside Po's silhouette jumping up as in the movie during his escape from prison ... which also represents the freeing of Po's mind. The Temple is in the background where Po is initially chosen as the Dragon Warrior. The final element in the poster is of course the path .. that hard path / staircase ... Po's Greatest Enemy lol. This ties into the slogan / tagline I've chosen for the poster which is ... "One often finds their destiny on the road they take to avoid it" which my Copywriting teacher would shoot me for using a tagline with more than 6 words lol. But I think I'll let it slide this time.

The original size of this poster is 13'x19'. Of course credit goes to the creators and all of the people who worked on this movie.
