I was drooling over Riptide and lamenting how he wasn't human to Kayfedewa . She laughed and agreed, we had a mini-conversation about hot-dogs. I offered to 'humanize' him....If you can't guess who the other two are, you have no clue who Kayfedewa is...

Im very impressed with your animations too, by the way.... i've been scouring your gallery now. You dont have many comments, which is like "WTF" so i gave you a plug on my main page. Expect an influx of hits soon.
I think sometime when you're free, maybe during the summer, we should collaborate on a project. I never usually make these sort of suggestions, but im impressed enough with your work to think that we have the potential to make a good team. Maybe on some sort of animation thing, like finishing the spear movie, or making a BBA short, i dont know, something fun.
Also, in a few months, I might commission you for some work (yes that means I'd pay you) involving the comic. There is a scene in the man village that I'll need help drawing the people in. Ive been looking for an artist to help me with this, but im thinking far in advance because like i said, i wont get around to that page for a while. But if you're interested, I'll give you details in a few months

Animation...hmm. I'm glad (ecstatic, really) that you loved my "Spear" project so much. However, I'm no animation buff. Check out , he's done wonderful 10 second projects and has is in the business. I've just taken a solitary MAYA (computer animation) class, I'm a weeny compared to him!
Huge projects mean pulling your eyes out and re-inserting them atom by atom, especially with animation. It would be best if you did it on your own and asked more experienced people for advice. I've seen your bitty animations (pixelized BBA running, your avatar, the Ookami avvie) and they're pretty cool!
"Spear" is long from being animated. It will be a CG film set against a real backdrop (like "Dinosaur" or the Discovery channel special "Walking with Dinosaurs"). It is a project very near and dear to my heart, something I'm unlikely to fully unveil to the public for quite some time. I fear both copycats (a neglible concern, no thief could quite copy or draw my stuff without being at a loss as to how to explain it) and my own ignorance. I need to develope the story far far more, more character depth, time sense, yada yada. Honestly, I plan on doing this 20 years or more from now. Thank you for the offer, though!

first of all, you captured ALL of their personalities EXPERTLY. Rip is screwing around, Swift seems like shes trying to explain something in a leaderly-fashion, and blood is being aloof and pissy. No one could have done it better, not even me. Well, especially not me, because i cant draw humans worth crap. But if i could, your vision is GREAT and i doubt i could match it.
Secondly, coloring the clothes to correspond with the markings of the original chars is genius. So many tiny details also hint to the characters designs (i.e. Swift's flap thing where her tail would be....colored like her tail. Same with blood and rip.) The rope collar around bloods arm.... the markings under the eyes... EVERYTHING IS THERE and it looks natural on them!!!
The rustic looking clothing is definately important here, and you did a great job with making it look authentic. The builds of all of the characters are accurate to the T. Blood is all beefy, rip is all lanky, and swift is just built kindof in between. Christ, you even went as far as to match the tan i use for bloods underbelly to her skin tone. EVERYTHING ADDS TO A FEEL HERE THAT DEFINES PERFECTION.
Also, the background is rendered very effectively. the style is similar to what i use in the comics (but better dammit 
Your shading is great, you can really tell they are being shaded by the trees and i even see some dappling effects from sun coming through the leaves on Rip. Nice touch.
needless to say, the hairstyles are inventive while still being accurate. Riptides i especially like because you got really creative with it, and gave him a great "Shaggy"-ish look (and i want to Shag him 
I must say that my favorite in this image is bloodspill though. I just love her look. Everything about it. Very VERY fitting to have made her activity having to do with violence (sharpening a weapon), and you even drew the ETERNALLY PURSED LIPS. MWAHAHA gosh. you didnt miss a thing did you?
Sorry im ranting. ive never written a comment this long. but i am so throroughly pleased with this masterpiece. Besides me getting to see star wars today, this has made my day. Ive been wanting so long for these characters to be humanized but i never thought it would happen on this level of accuracy or perfection.
