I so love Lillipup/Herdier/Stoutland. It's the best normal I've ever raised. My bitch has such a little 'tude, it makes me squee.Also some Smugleaf smuggin' it up.

It's my favorite of the series so far. Much more nostalgic; there's none of the original pokemon at first so you're wandering around encountering entirely new pokemon and trying to figure out who does what and who's useful and who's not. It ends up surprising you.

The first pokemon I saw when I started my journey was actually a shiny Lillipup :0 T'was the first shiny I've ever seen in my life! I named him "Lucky" XD

Stoutland is apparently a fairly massive pokemon. He's the size of a small horse. He ain't no yapper dog and DAMN can he take a helluva lotta damage. Also he's got ice and fire fang. Damn.

I do always loves exploiting pokemon that can learn the elemental punches/bites/etc.
Having an Alakazam with Fire/Ice/Thunderpunch and Psychic is happy good times.

am i the only one who HATES lillipup/herdier/stoutland? I haven't trained one, but personally i LOATHE the way they look and enjoy beating the crap out of them in battle. I mean, I suspect they're powerful cuz they're difficult to beat at times, but still. It's so hideous >< -not a fan of yorkie/terrier looking things-

Awww you made Stoutland and Blitzle look adorable! Because of this I ALMOST let my Herdier evolve.... then I saw it's pixel form and said no. xD It's a level 52 now and I won't let him evolve.

I used Lillipup/Herdier as a middler, and was glad to have him. Especially since Purrloin ended up kinda sucking. Take Down was nasty coming from it!

I have to agree. I was not expecting to keep lilipup but my gods it kicks some serious arse. I was expecting to keep Liepard because it looks awesome but it is pretty fail combat wise (that is to say mine is very fail).... so disappoint...

Dark types are....tricky. Especially a pure dark like that. I suspect if I created a breeding tree I could get a really good Liepard with some awesome moves, but it would have to have some unique move setup to really own appropriately. At least it gives me a lot of exp to kill it.
