- also known as Kyùso
- olding rat are the most common 'house pest' on the middle eastern side of Anuvina. they are native to Fantosia but they have invaded Backland by hiding on ships.

- they are one of the biggest species of rat on Anuvina. some of them can sometimes be at the same size of a cat

- there is a law on Backland to kill them right away because they are so destructive. they kill every house pets and destroy houses to get to the food. they are also quick breeder.

- they are mostly known to be able to kill smaller cat species. people need to have trained dogs to be able to kill it. if all cats in the area suddenly disappear it is because a pack of Olding rats have decided to claim the area as their hunting ground. in worst case scenario they will also attack and kill toddlers.

- olding rat meat are used to dog food or as hunt meat for basilisk, giant birds, Jotun horses and most types of dogs. because they breed so quick as they do, there are low change they ever will go extinct.

- it is unwise to have an Olding rat as a pet. they are incredible destructive and do not work well with other house pets. because of their large sizes they are also bold and not afraid to bite people they see as a easy target. most people just want to see them dead.
