CHARACTERS OF THIS RACE:

TRIVIA:
- they should not be confused with the Sfinks which are a Tekata species and has no relations at all with the Feldo family

- old legends tell that it has the head of a human and the entire body as a lion. which are not the case with this beast

- Sphinx is the female version of the Manticore. when they first were discovered; many believed they were a species for themselves. it later discovered that the Manticore is the males of this species

- its red spikes are poisonous and will paralyze the stung. unlike the Manticore who use the spikes in all of their hunts. Sphink only use this attack against bigger and stronger prey. they prefer to hunt like common lioness'

- Sphinx has three rows of teeth which are a thing the Feldo family are known for. they loose the teeth if it breaks or get stuck in something and a new tooth takes its place. they can changes all of their teeth around 8 to 10 times through their whole life

- Sphinx lives in groups with two to nine females, most of them are related in some way. they only live together with males in the breeding period and cubs will leave few weeks before the males come.

- unlike the Manticore which are most seen in the jungle. the Sphinx are always seen in the savannah area. they do not like to wander as much as the males and prefer to stay in their territory. it is very uncommon to see a female leave the area they are born in.
