I'm guessing you used an ND filter for this - if so what kind of strength was it?
I love the capture of movement in the sky during the daylight hours - very powerful to look at, especially with the tones that have found their way into the piece

its definitely worth the money...but i recognized that without the noise reduction thingie in the individual functions, the noise is so damn ugly (it has to be, cause exposuring during 28Β° isnt the best for the sensor)...so it doubles your time...i did a 15min exposure too, and had to wait 30mins
normally i use an aperture of f16 for landscape, or f14...but to get a longer exposure time i went down to f22...i too need to experiment a lot with this filter...
it just sucks that filters for 77mm always cost more than 100β¬

It's true - that is the downside of the 77mm thread. Buying a polarizer for my 10-22 pretty much broke the bank 
One thing that I have read though is that if you stack an ND 400 with an ND 8 the exposure time increases by an even larger amount than the initial addition of the ND 400. It would also allow you to drop that aperature down to f14 from f22. If that ND 400 arrives soon I'll let you know how it works!

Interessante Farbgebung. Sieht ganz gut aus find ich, bringt ne "eigene" Stimmung rΓΌber.
Scheint ja extrem windstill gewesen zu sein, der Strauch da vorn is trotz 300 sec. noch relativ scharf.

ja der nd filter bringt da ganz schΓΆn rot rein...obwohl i eh scho einiges weggetan hab mitm weissabgleich in raw...nur find ichs gar nicht schirch, wenns a bissl rΓΆtelt!
