OK, so as you know by now i have gotten into DC stuff and it's been fun, but like with all things, the DC (as well as Marvel, as you'll soon see) comic series from 1966 and on were...kinda ate up.
I realize things were different back then, and these comics were made to be more cheesy and innocent/more welcoming to certain aspects of social convention, but i just cannot let go of some of the insanity/weirdness in these!
And it's very amusing!
So just for the fun of it, imma share my findings because elaborating is fun and like usual, it's nice to have something to laugh at.
But before i begin, i'd like to iterate that in spite of the weirdness, these are still well done comics for their time and people's ability to draw humans amazes me.
And now...let the ripping begin...~

UM.
So for reasons i do not understand, Robin decides to attack Bruce while he's in the shower.
Ok then.
Also, could there be more emphasis on Robin's ass?
I mean as the comics advance, the asses only get more asstastic, but my GOD, and why did Robin always wear those little speedoes?!?!
Also, a 12-year-old this buff makes me uncomfortable, just for the record.

I'm not even gonna ask, but i gotta say, Robin's hand against the wall(?) and the crotch light is not helping this look of eroticism.

Bird shit???
Glue?????
BECAUSE IT LOOKS EXTREMELY LIKE BATMAN JUST WALKED IN ON ROBIN GETTING JIZZ BLASTED BY SOMEONE.
ROBIN'S LOOK OF HORROR ISN'T HELPING.
NEITHER ARE THOSE DICK-SUCKING LIPS.
WHOA.
I gotta admit, this picture makes me laugh EVERY TIME I LOOK AT IT!

Does this even need context?
Like what possible excuse could there be for them to be on a teeter totter together?
And yes, this was the picture i used to crop Trump and Putin's heads on for my gag pic, but this disturbs me more than that gag idea.
Probably because, oh gee i dunno, because Robin's TWELVE.
