She came all this way, alone, for this.A chunk of chalk and marble and fear and anger. Was it worth it? Just to see who she came from? Or what, in this case. There were no words that could be shared, no knowledge. Not a shred of answers could be had, and she came all this way forΒ this.
Nymph has always been one of my fave NG. As the daughter of Princess Luna and Queen Chrysalis, she's always had this inner conflict on who she is. If you're unaware of how Nymph came to be, find her background and profile Meet Nymph .
With changelings as a whole having transformed into their 'good' forms, Nymph questions a lot of things about herself. Why does she still more resemble the... old changelings. Why isn't she sparkling and beautiful? Why can she not relate to them and their culture? It's hers too, isn't it? Luna could never truly answer these questions, but tries everything to comfort her daughter. Neither of them truly got a choice in this, but they're there for each other.Β
So Nymph needed this. To see her other mother. The other half she'd never really know. Or maybe she could?

Such an interesting character and such a curious scene. Makes me wonder more about Nymph and how she feels about her parentage. She seems like a very lonely pony
