I know a lot of people view Lilith in a lot of ways but legends say she was the first wife of Adam and since she tried to be his equal on a sexual level she was cast aside and exiled as disobedient. Of course I invite you to believe what you want to believe but after hearing so much about Lilith I decided to try to do a rendering of what she might have looked like before she was cast from grace. I always imagined her with red hair of some sort so I think this hair does her justice and since I envision her in a bit of a natural scene she is au naturale herself and to me her hair length represents her communing with nature in some way. The crown of leaves symbolizes her as a 'first queen' and I also envisioned her having a bit of a darkner skin tone since the sun would no doubt bless her in multiple ways. Finally I worked on her expression for a long time and I wanted to portray her with a bit of a defiant/sexy/strong look. She was indeed going to have sex to please herself and not a man so in a way that does resemble a woman's desire for power.

Again, interpret the Lilith legends as you want and trust me I'm definitely not one to preach religion but I think this reveals her beauty and defiance well before her fall from grace.
