I say try and explore the tunnels and see what their about and then attack them when you have as much daylight as possible.

Spend a day exploring the tunnels then the next day go back to lay traps to kill goblins/collapse all but one route out then make a suprise attack to funnel them towards the outside and finish them as they come out the tunnels

Have two then three. Rather have the enemy come to your battlefield than their's. on top of it, it's their home, once they know you are there, it would be hell to fight out of it.
Anyways after 3 we will go into 1 and take out the stranglers and Kill their kids a dead goblin is a good goblin. maybe check for hostages.
