Before the Hellbinder's wrist is sealed together, the massive hand is partly withdrawn, twisting unnaturally as it trails down the Scholar's figure to hook a talon within the last shred of her clothing. The touch is unnerving, as is the dread of what she knows is to follow, but Elina stares straight forward into the Hellbinder's chest. "Likewise," the being's voice concludes, "we will allow you none."
***********************************************
Elina was drawn with the awesome reference material provided by Emily at Feathered-pics
I relied on a number of references for this, including this one.
Enjoy!
Note: Bookbinding and Demon's Due are a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones real mistreatment of this kind toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.

It might be mildly amusing if, when he actually pulls, instead of the sound of fabric tearing, we instead heard the sound of not-quite-rewoven rope strands snapping...I mean, how do you draw an embarassed Hellbinder?

Wicked perspective here - everything looks very perky from down there as well! And yay, finally getting rid of those ugly panties.

Thank you! Elina's journey to the "status quo" has taken a long time, with some wardrobe elements proving depressingly resilient...

If looks could kill. Or is that just dread? It's hard to tell. I really like the composition on this one, especially the way you included the top of the Hellbinder's head there.

Thank you! Knowing that the viewer's eye would travel up her figure from panties to breasts to face, her gaze would then direct the viewer right off the top margin of the page unless there was something there to receive it and force the viewer back down toward the center. Well, at least that's the artistic theory for it all, and it seems to work because I use the strategy a lot and find myself staring right at the stuff in the middle...
I'm glad you like it.

After 9 chapters of this stuff, what's really surprising is when the female characters actually get to keep their clothes ON!

It appears that no one can accuse the forces of evil of "not trying hard enough," to steal shamelessly from a quote I've read someplace.
And then it occurred to me that wouldn't this be just the perfect time to cut back to several scenes of Luther, Tarkin, and Theonius' discussion, and what would the reaction to THAT be?
π: 0 β©: 1
faile35 In reply to erick288 [2014-12-19 05:46:21 +0000 UTC]
Now, that statement sounds familiar for some reason...
And, regarding Luther, Tarkin, and Theonius, if the three of them were sitting around a table at the pub, 90% hammered and talking about the troubles with women in their lives, it just might be tragically humorous...
