She stops abruptly as the creature looms over her, stretching a torn length of her robe between its little fists. Suddenly her neck feels very vulnerable, still sore from the attempted strangling she had endured earlier at the Cat Witch's hands, followed again in the cramped cage by her gremlin captor.

"Yes," the gremlin says slowly. "You do wish to learn. And the significance of your robes is not lost on me, though I tear them to pieces and bind you with them. But it is clear that your commitment to knowledge only extends so far, and certain types of knowledge are beyond you. Unfortunately for you, intrepid Scholar, 'Beyond' is where you must go. And if you are not restrained, you will not survive the journey..."

It's safe to say that I'm having a LOT of fun with this section. It's about time that we saw someone actually try to speak with our villain, as cryptic and evasive as the little sucker is...
