Elina is startled to see the woven fabric writhe in gremlin's hand, then slither outward toward her face. "No-...!" she begins, but the word is stifled as the stretched cloth slips between her lips and teeth, snaking around cheek and jaw and clasping behind her neck.
"But I am no sorcerer like you," the gremlin continues. "And I require no words to work my will in enchanted fabric, wax, or runemote." As Elina snarls in her effort to dislodge the tightening gag, the creature sits upright on her collarbone, observing her labors with gleaming eyes. "'Twas the first evidence I found that I am other than human. I made a long list of learning what I'm not, including this gremlin form, and others of lesser and greater stature. And now, after my long search to discover my true self, I have at last found a more worthwhile endeavor..."

Trying to crank these out as fast as possible, so I'm slipping on responding to the comments for a few more days. I hope folks are enjoying this section. It's been a long time in getting here, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
Enjoy!

more good stuff coming up in the next few panels, I would wager. Always a joy to see new work. Although, I must be getting too emotionally attached to the character, as I feel sad she'd enduring this. Still going to be faving it though

Thanks a bunch! I hope you enjoy them, even if it is at Elina's expense, somewhat. The chapter's only half over at this point--she might be able to turn things around...

Just waiting to see what happens to Elina.
Will Luther come to her aid or fall in effort to save her?
Will the Gremlin ever get tired of talking?
and what is to become of those before our dear scholar?!
Tune in next week for the continuing story!

and then Grigor breaks into song:
"Aaand – now that I've got you gagged and tied,
I'm gonna have some fun tonight,
Squirm and struggle with all your might,
Gonna have me a good time,
Gonna have a good time,
Have me a good time . . ."

I think if anyone needs a magical gag, it's Gremlin-Jervil here.

Man, he is *begging* to be throttled Simpsons-style with that nasty little grin of his... either that or sucker-punched.
Still loving the expressions here...

dispite of its small shape, the gremlin is rather a demon

He is, indeed. A real mischievous little meanie.

And... despite everything, she still keeps her glasses!
Fantastic work here again - gagging scenes are double-plus-good (second only to collaring, in my opinion... not that I'm pushing or anything)

I'll keep the collaring thing in mind. If a future scene actually does turn out the way I am planning, you should get plenty of what you're not pushing for. Thanks!

Woot! Of all the fiendish tie-up gadgets you've created, I think the constrictor-gags are the most fun (I still say the scene in Fair Harvest with Val struggling with her own gag could stand another image or three. Same with Avora and Deirdre, in Vision!)
Gary: "ExcUSE me, I'm still talking here! What did your momma tell you about interrupting, eh??"
Elina: Oh great, now I'm stuck listening to Chatty-Smurf, and can't even interject. This day keeps getting better and better...

Well, as to the expanded Serpentine Gag scenes, we'll see what we can do when we get to the revision. Regardless, thank you for the praise on the fiendish creation. The designer can be sufficiently creative when it comes to this kind of thing--especially if he's given an adequate budget to work with...
The moral of this story is: Don't ask a gremlin a question. Ever.

Not quite there yet, but we're headed in the right direction, that's for sure. And it's obvious our little scholar hasn't read much about other victims, or she'd KNOW not to open her mouth when the gag is prepped and ready to use... I mean really, nothing like all but ASKING for a gag!

YESSSSS!!
Uh... just to be clear, is the cloth magic? Is it tying itself? Your prose seems to imply that might be happening (even though the late and unlamented Jarvis had to cast a spell with runes to use a magic gag). Just curious... although if magic isn't involved, tell Gus to get his act together and tighten that thing before it occurs to Elina she can spit it out. Let's see her cheeks bulge!

faile35 In reply to vvvan [2013-04-08 21:25:53 +0000 UTC]
No, the cloth isn't holding a new magical "charge." Grigor Gremlin there is working magic on it that, when he quits concentrating, will cease. It will hold its new form as cloth of whatever type it was previously, but it won't have any added properties like a Serpentine Gag does. Essentially, all he's doing is changing the form, cut, and weave of the cloth (turning panties into a bra, or a bandanna, or a handkerchief, etc.). And no worries; it will tighten before she can spit it out. We still have a few pages of Elina trussed up before we reach the mid-chapter break (wherein I will finish the Rats revision and push that publication to conclusion).
And, I'm glad you're enjoying these images. This one was a LOT of fun.

Allrightiethen. Us muggles can get confused by such stuff, but the bottom line is... Elina. Naked. Bound. Gagged.
Sir Luther of Buzzkill might spoil things eventually, but that's all good. We don't want Elina to come to harm. We just want to watch her star in an entertaining DiD-drama.

I get impressed when I see how you're always refining your art, every time making even better expressions and anatomies to something that was already excellent.
And to those who say Elina lost weight with her cloths, I disagree, as this past picture can show: [link]
Perfect match IMHO.
Much thanks for share

Thanks a bunch for the compliments and the observation! I've tried to keep Elina's body type/shape consistent over time, so I'm glad you think it's held up. Regarding the style in that Bare Necessities image you linked, the cool thing is that the pre-digital work is fairly consistent with what I do now. So, even though these newer images are a lot more polished than the old ones, most of that polish is in the digital touches I add to each image after I scan the traditional piece. That's not the case with the Rats and Twisted Plot pieces, so I'm having to redo those images to publish. But once I get into Fair Harvest's partial revision, it should be smooth sailing from that point.
