or I'll just give you a brief explanation.

Textures and Brushes are basically the roots of photomanipulation.

1.) you download the brush set.. there should be an icon that says "download" whenyou get to the brush you want.
2.) Open the brushes pallette in photoshop, click on the arrow, and select "load brushes"
3.)select the brush set you want. it should be a .adr file.
And ka pow.

And TExtures.. Any image can be used as a texture basically. But there are a lot of great textures here... or [link]

So you open the photomanipulation file that you want.
You open the texture/ image file.
You drag the image/texture into the manip file, by turning it into a layer.

And you stick the texture layer on top of your photo manipulation.
You change the blending mode of the layer to... something other than "normal." it depends on the effect you want.

the most common ones I use are :: overlay, softlight, hardlight, pin light, linear burn....




Yeah and I hate people who don't put borders in their art.
it takes like 1 minute, and it makes the art look so much more refined and professional.
