Description My first and last ( most recent that is) acrylic painting. It was done in April I believe. Landscapes bore me, but I suppose that they're good for those who are just beginning. I think I would have liked this a lot better if that tree were not there. I think it distracts from my favorite part of the painting, which is the orange-red flowers. It(the tree) also seems to be some desperate attempt for symmetry which annoys me.

WOW I had no idea that you painted! Or that you were really good at it! lol
The colors rock, and I love clouds, great job!
I don't see why you don't like the tree, I thought it gave the piece a nice touch. Beyond that, it keeps your eyes from wandering off the page, lol.

You should definetely paint more often!

I used to work with water colors a lot, but haven't really been consistent with it the past few years.

...amazing work on the clouds...

My grandmother(amazing artist) taught me how to make landscapes more realistic with certain stokes and other such techniques. A lot of stuff dealing with color-layering and the like.
