Description
My first and last ( most recent that is) acrylic painting. It was done in April I believe. Landscapes bore me, but I suppose that they're good for those who are just beginning. I think I would have liked this a lot better if that tree were not there. I think it distracts from my favorite part of the painting, which is the orange-red flowers. It(the tree) also seems to be some desperate attempt for symmetry which annoys me.Related content

The colors rock, and I love clouds, great job!
I don't see why you don't like the tree, I thought it gave the piece a nice touch. Beyond that, it keeps your eyes from wandering off the page, lol.
You should definetely paint more often!

I used to work with water colors a lot, but haven't really been consistent with it the past few years.

My grandmother(amazing artist) taught me how to make landscapes more realistic with certain stokes and other such techniques. A lot of stuff dealing with color-layering and the like.
