Description
A step by step tutorial on how to make Christmas (or any kind) of hard candy from polymer clay!I almost didn't make this because I thought it was *too* simple...it's really very easy to do but it's a fun project to take on

Can you use some glaze to get the candy to look more realistic? And if you do, what kind is the best?

My best resources have always been the books written by Angie Scarr or if you look up 'polymer clay tutorial' here on dA or youtube

My favorite brands to use are FIMO and Sculpey

Thankyou!
I´ve tried doing many miniature food pieces with FIMO but it is very fragile.
How fragile is the Sculpey?

That's interesting because I found the Sculpey to be more fragile than the FIMO...another brand that is sturdy is Kato clay (the smell is a bit off putting though )

Looks fun! Might make some. I'm wondering, did you use any translucent clay in the candies?

These are very cute! Going to be my new little project today.
I know this question doesn't really apply to these candies, but when you paint your creations, what kind of paint do you use?

Whenever I work with polymer clay when I cut somthing in doesn't ever make a crisp cut it all either just looks like a rolled the sides of it down or in all smushes together when I cut it downwards, and sometimes when I cut somthing round theres a flat part on the on the bottom and it ends up looking like a semicircle instead of a circle, do you have any advice??
