"So many questions from someone so small."Here is the kickoff for my 100 theme challenge! I wanted to draw little Shifu alongside Oogway just to illustrate how small he was as a cub. Also my first attempt at Oogway... I used a concept piece of him from The Art of Kung Fu Panda for reference. Did the majority of this one when Faye ripped through our town and killed our electricity and AC...
Know that this might be my last KFP fanart for a period... I need time to set out my priorities if I'm planning on living in Orlando for six months next year.

When I saw the first movie, I became so obsessed with him! I nearly cried in the movie when I thought he was dying XD. The whole time when Po was fighting Tai Lung, the thought "Shifu! Shifu! What about Shifu?" was nagging me XD. I was relieved when Po finally remembered him...

Let me try again. You did a really great job on this drawing. You built a relationship between the two characters and you used the negative space between them to tell a story. Excellent work! Keep working like this and you'll be working with Nico in no time.

Aww, this is fantastic, I love stuff like this, the whole "Teacher student" relationship. I bet little shifu could ask hundreds of questions and oogway will never be bothered, thats how awesome he is.

I have a question! In your story, was Oogway around when Shifu was born? And who's the god parents of Shifu? Shouldn't they be the ones to take care of him?

Oh wait... Were you asking if Oogway was on the scene when he was born? The answer to that question is no, but Oogway did have a brief interaction with him not long after he was born.
