Description Using my newly created classic Spyro model for crap like this. lol

I kinda did Spyro 1's cover pose in the texture test one: fav.me/db8e4zr but I'll do it again for the hell of it I guess. lol

Looks awesome! Question: Are the eyes completely spherical, or are they modified?

I have two versions, one pair is slightly modified and the other is a normal sphere. but one is hidden and will be used for something else. But both give a very similar result.

If you are asking about his iris and how it looks concave, Normal map. That's about it.

The slightly modified eye one, the one I am using for these photos, has a lens over the iris otherwise you won't get the full sphere look.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I've been working with a few characters lately that don't have spherical eyes and it could get quite frustrating at times hahaha.

But they are both spheres as a whole. I'm am not using lattices and the modifier that goes with it as well. I mean it helps with oddly shaped eyes and just working with renders within Blender, but for me, when working with little things with my brother in a game engine like Unity and Unreal, not only do lattices not work/cannot transfer over, I want an easy functioning eye in which a sphere is the way to go but it sometimes can be tricky with non traditional shaped eyes.

There is also the simpler route and just doing vertex animations. A flat plain of faces representing the eye and sliding around the face that is the pupil.
