Description
I want to be galaxies.I plan to end drowning,
Losing my breath to the brown of your eyes.
I wonder if you'd still see me as sunlight,
When you saw the poetry carved into me,
From the days when paper didn't satisfy.
I wanted to be something beautiful.
And then,
That was the only way.
Would you call me 'friend'
If you knew the thoughts inside.
"Worthless girl,
Filthy wench!
Just go die,
You know you want to!"
Would you accept the shell of the past,
And work to rebuild the girl inside?
Would you maybe...
Love me?
Could you want me,
The girl full of galaxies and scars and ink?
The one who can only describe in verse,
And explain in cryptic ways.
And...
Who loses herself to herself,
When her mind fancies.
I was so lost before I met you.
I never wanted to drown.
As long as it's with you,
I don't think I care.
