Description So i guess this is my last piece of work to be submitted from France, for the foreseeable future at least. This panorama is taken from my front garden, and covers about a 270° rotation. Looking at the finished image brings back the memories of the last 4 months spent around this area, sitting out in shorts till 4am drinking rum and coke, chopping wood for the stoves, calling our horse over at the gate, all sorts of nonsense in the bedroom with ma cheri alex ^^ and the football field where i trained and played football for 'team courdemanche' which was really sweet. I used the colour curve tool this time after recieving advice from larinque, and i think it has definantly helped with the blending, especially as i turned the camera to take pictures of the distant valley, which is the direction in which the suns light was coming from. Ended up using around 12 photographs, but really enjoy creating this kind of thing as i don't have to have a lot of creative inspiration to motivate me to open photoshop.

I'm gonna miss this place. Courdemanche, June 26th - October 26th 2005

Nice work Dave, you did good without a tripod, I did some like this in the Lakes and they came out quite well. Used my film camera though so I aint never submitted them on here.

Amazing. Cascading across the landscape, life overflowing, overtaking.

Overwhelming, but still peacefully, righteously, gracefully.

Lovingly.

Ah! I just love panorama pictures!
You've done a great job sewing the pictures together (I guess that's what you've done). Can't see any seams.
Really impressive how you've got everything in focus, especially the leaves to the left.
Nice light!
Good job!

finding so many ideal subjects in the foreground for a 270 degree panoramic is a very desirable acomplishment. I love the way the fence right in front of you on the left flows backwards into the overhang that leads your eyes towards the home and barbed wire fence which leads your eyes to the trees which lead you the the beautiful country side of France. I seem to be tripping out in a french paradise.

Yeah, primarily i was going to make another 180 degree panorama by resting my camera on the stone bench infront of the house (no tripod ...) but when i saw the little red insects hiding in the cracked and rotting wood, i knew that i would have to include them and try to blend a macro shot with a distance shot. But yeah these panoramas are good for the memories.

Hey cheers for the comment man
It was ultimatly your panoramas of mount doom, times square and twIIn memories that got me around to doing this, and of course living in the middle of country with nothing but a computer, camera and a soundsystem Now i'm in spain in a friends house, and every night since i have arrived here, there has been a really sweet sunrise, which go well with the view of Sitges- the town we are staying in on the edge of the mediterranean sea. But unfortunatly not got a working computer with photoshop, so these pictures will have to stick it out on the memory card for now. Nice one anyway,

Panoramas capture so much more of the view than a standard photo...it's like I am standing right in that spot
