Another photo taken during the same shoot as Virile [link]It's actually very similar to Virile. The only thing that really bothers me with these two shots is the darkness in the upper left. I think I'd really like both photos better if I had that area lighted as well. It should either be brighter or darker...
Any thoughts?

the darker left does add a nice contrast to the light, especially the shadows on the briefs and the spotlighted(?) nipple

In my opinion, the darkness in the upper left enhances this photo. There's a rather stark contrast between upper left and lower right with a wave effect of dark to light from center left to center right. I believe it focuses the attentiveness of the viewer with sort of a demanding "look at this".

Thanks very much for your feedback. I think I agree about the branding--though it wasn't intentional for it to turn out this way. Actually, I received some feedback regarding Virile that said pretty much the same thing. If I were to reshoot this, what changes would you make to make it "less commercial?"

Maybe you could have edited out the name on the strap of the briefs, but I'm not sure if that would violate some sort of rule. Also, the model could have been in a more natural pose, and you could have incorperated some face in there, however I do love the look it gives already.
