Unlike his brother, Carter is more kind than he is rude. While he isn't an angel, he has a better understanding of the way people work than his other part. He's very good at sensing emotion as well as reading body language. Carter is a bit more aware of the way he makes others feels and would rather stay on their good sides. He's very rarely angry at anyone and could never hold a grudge.

Carter and his brother, Gaige, are definitely a handful. And then some. The two of them together cause a great deal of trouble, and having them together for long periods of time is never a good thing. Though Carter is more sensible than his brother, he does enjoy stirring up a little trouble every now and then and certainly doesn't mind playing pranks.

John and Lori had met at a bar one warm summer eve, and quite frankly, it was love at first sight. The lovebirds dated for two years before finally deciding to get married after finding out that Lori was pregnant. John, a very warm and loving man, insisted they marry for the benefit of the child. Afterwards, John had found a job that required him to travel all of the time. Lori was upset that he was constantly gone and often felt lonely. On the days that he was home, the couple would fight. Lori begged him to find a different job so that he could stay home with her, but he insisted that they needed the money that this job supplied. So, Lori found a few friends and stuck with them through her pregnancy. In some ways, John did regret not being there for her completely, but he knew that they weren't financially able for a child and needed to save up what he could.

{ Childhood }

" Surprise! "
Much to John and Lori's surprise, it was not just a child, but two children. Somehow, all of their ultrasounds had managed to miss the smaller, weaker brother. Gaige was the first to be born - the boy they were expecting. He was a very healthy child, if not a little large. Soon after delivering him, Lori began to feel pains, and as the doctors investigated, they found that another baby was on it's way. Alarmed, Lori delivered a much smaller, frailer baby boy that they decided to name Carter. This younger sibling always had trouble when he was young, being much smaller than his older brother and often getting picked on in school. Carter looked up to Gaige, though, and they joined sports teams together and he followed in his footsteps everywhere. Gaige found himself standing up for his little brother all of the time, and Carter always loved him for it. The two were inseparable.

{ Teenager }

" I owe my success to Gaige, "
Much to Gaige's help, Carter was able to make it through most of school. He was, however, still the small, lanky boy that he was when he was delivered. It wasn't until Carter got into his later school years that finally grew. He sprouted rather quickly and eventually caught up to his brother in height and weight. He became increasingly handsome and was finally able to compete with his brother. Unfortunately, this also brought about many problems between the two in which Carter insisted that he no longer needed to be babied, while Gaige thought it was still fun to boss around his younger sibling. By now they have worked out most of this issue, though Gaige still thinks that he can boss Carter.

{ Adulthood }

Carter and his brother found work at Clockwork Stable and are responsible for training and showing in combined driving and other assorted driving events. In his spare time, Carter likes jumping the horses or just going for trails rides. He and Gaige still have a close bond, though both being adults, have completely figured their relationship out.
