That's a pretty good job of cleaning up a picture, might wanna try reducing the pixel-ly look to the inking.

Do you mean by like resizing the picture or what? Cause the lines in the smaller picture definitely looks prettier. Or do you have another suggestion?

Well, first how did you do the inking?
If you wanted to you could make the picture really big and then ink it, then reduce the size, then any mistakes you make during the inking process would become negligable. Assuming you did the inking on the computer.

Well I definitely did the inking on the computer, and the size I worked on is pretty much what you see here so I suppose I'd just have to make the current size smaller than what it is now to fix it. Unless of course you have some fantastic photoshop trick up your sleeve which would pretti-fy my inking.

Well when I'm inking on the computer (since I don't have a tablet >_> I like to keep my lines nice and smooth by using paths with the pen tool.

Until then I suppose I'll just do everything on a grand scale and then shrink it down. I tried that on the drawing I'm currently working on and it seems to be working fine. Thanks for the advice by the way!

That's probably the easiest way to do it. Glad I could help, maybe I could be more help if and when I get a tablet

Work is often unpleasant, but yours sounds exceptionally so. You surely deserve to treat yourself. If you're anything like me though once you get your tablet you'll want to play with it with means the super laziness powers may be subdued, at least for a time.

You should get a tablet if you're able to it makes things a billion and one time easier. It's a lot more natural, plus the pressure sensitivity is brilliant. Some of the fancier ones have like tilt sensitivity too. Very nice but with a price tag to match. Have you used a tablet before?

Nope, never used a tablet before...
Since getting my job I've ordered an Intuos2 9x12 Tablet, hopefully getting it in a week or so...yea it is really damn expensive though, ~600 dollars or so. Yea I wasted an entire paycheck on that.

Oh you got the fancy one! I have a wee little 4x5 graphire2 but it works well enough. The larger working surface is a huge plus with yours though. No regular work equals no fancy tablets for this girl. Ah well, but as for it being wasted money it's not as long as you use it and after paying that much I'm sure you will. Which is good for us because that means more updates!

Yeah, I'm quite happy I'm getting the big one, it's not necessary but after working in such a crappy place that makes me cough up blood, I thought "what the hell, I'll waste some money"
I'm sure it won't be wasted money but just because it's easier for me to draw stuff doesn't mean I'll update more, I think my "super laziness powers" will kick in and kick my "I'll work hard" thought process out.

haha! Didn't expect to find RPG World fanart here, but it's always a pleasant sight. ^_^ If you haven't you might want to submit it to their fanart section.
