This one I love! I ignored most of the shirt detail. Like... I am not spending an entire day rendering those gosh darn sequins. NO... just NO!

Yeah, I stared at the reference image for a long time and was like "oh man, do I really want to tackle all of that texture???" but the important part was the way the lighting changes over his outstretched hand and of course his face... so as long as those things came out...the rest just needed to look okay.

You've done the lighting change really well. It's so hard to get that effect on paper, and you've done a really good job of that. If you had ended up with all that detail on his clothes it would have taken away from that effect.

The ring makes me giddy. I love the teleportation symbol. I have it on a necklace and I love it. And I had it henna tattooed on my foot for a little while.
I also couldn't resist attempting the spotlight diffusion... I wanted to see if I could get it to look right.

Oh wow, you had it as a tattoo? How cool is that! I bough Kyungsoo's symbol also as a necklace but because I can't wear necklaces much cos of my sensitive skin, I had it as a bracelet. But T____T somehow I lost it. The ring which connected it bent and opened and it slipped out

I hate when that happened. Necklaces irritate me too, but a friend taught me a trick. (for sensitive ears too) when I buy jewelry I hang it up somewhere and paint the part of it that will come in contact with my skin with clear nail polish. I do that to all of my earrings and to the back portions of necklaces and I even do it to the inside of rings (especially so they don't tarnish against my skin).

that sounds like a great idea! But I guess for me it's a bit different maybe, because I need to choose carefully also what I wear in terms of clothes. I can tell you just from a touch of the fabric with my hand if I would scratch my neck after wearing it or if it's ok. If I am not sure, I just simply try it on in the shop for 2 min. and I know the result
