" Light is writing down the names of those who he distinguishes to be "Naughty and Nice". Of course some of the country's greatest criminals are among the '"Naughty" list then again whomever's name is written in the Death Note will die anyways. This is his way of playing Santa Claus while L acts as his reindeer joined by a pair of decorated handcuffs. He is too focused on his gingerbread man and candy cane though to even notice the Death Note in the open. Misa barely notices the Note either as she is too obsessed with Light, an apple for Ryuk in one hand and a mistletoe in the other hoping to receive a sweet kiss on Christmas night. "
