Simon isn't exactly a brawler like Urban Champion is. His stamina is below average and his attack output is low without meter, making close fights rather difficult. To make matters worse, his back flip isn't a safe reversal so one wrong guess can put him back down on the ground. Where he does succeed however, is at mid and long range. With his daggers and his whip, he can keep the opponent far away so they won't get in too close. If they even think about jumping at you, his back flip as well as some of his other basic attacks will knock them back onto the ground.
