Description
Seeing the Mario movie reminded me of a multiversal constant within the Mario franchise. Mario and Donkey Kong will never stop being rivals. So, I wanted to draw something depicting that rivalry, but just to make it a little more unique, I specifically used Baby Mario and Baby DK. Also, Yoshi's Island DS is a great game and more people should play it. I think a lot of people skipped out on it because they might have thought it was just a remaster of Yoshi's Island (which already existed on the GBA), so I often feel maybe it might have done better with its original working title of "Yoshi's Island 2", which is what it really is. WHATEVER THE CASE, I'm going off on a bit of a tangent now...
