Yes. I went there. It has come to my attention tonight, that over the past few weeks, there has been a silent... least towards me... Neon Pop fan base. When I create an outrageous picture of Neon, she gets posted up on Ponibooru rather quickly. I don't do this, I post my art only on Deviant Art, however, some who call themselves 'fans' or my 'followers' have been doing something in my name that I am not quite fond of.

They bash any pony OC remotely similar to Neon, and as C4tPajamas has stated, "Anon I really wish you Neon Pop fans would stop bashing other peoples' OCs as if NP is your one and only God. Love and tolerate."

I do see the similarities in some of these pony OC's, but as stated, you can not claim a color scheme, and the the way I see this, is just a sign of flattery. Who knows if these artists have made their pony in Neon's image? In the end, they will never BE Neon, for she is her own character, and they are their own. Do I approve of the 'look-a-likes'? Not really, but who am I to say? You can only design so much before others start having the same idea. Things like this happen all the time, it starts off with one idea, and others build off it, whether its good or bad.

Rhythm Break was created by ~fluffikitten . I don't know this girl, I've seen her pony PrettiGraffiti, on a pony rp forum, but never had the chance to rp with her, and she watches me on dA. So this isn't a "Stand up for a friend" type of thing. This is my stand for her and the others out there that have ponies similar to Neon, leave them alone.

If you are truly a fan on Neon, if you like her, or even feel you have to stand up for me, then you would know that Neon and myself take after Lady Gaga's words of love, acceptance, freedom and tolerance. Let it be, who cares? I don't, if they want to make a neon pony, fine! I'm not about to sit here and call them copycats. Like I said, I may not approve, but I can look at it as a sign of flattery or an odd coincidence. Just stop flaming, it makes ME look terrible, and it hurts my chances of making friends in the Brony community. Do. Not. Speak. For. Me.

I used Rhythm Break in this picture with Neon cause it seemed she happened to get the worst end of the backlash of "Neon Fans". I like the design, cause frankly, I know who Neon is. She's a Pop Star, an embodiment of Pop Culture, she is NOT a raver, as so many have said. For all I know, Rhythm could be a fan. She could be the raver pony, frankly, I don't know, and even though I might one day know this pony, Neon will still be Neon, and in my eyes, no one can come close to her character. End of story.

this was fun, again, another rape-your-eyes picture, but like i have stated MANY times... thats the point of Neon. XD kinda... not really.

also... still trying to better my pony anatomy, expressions and general style for my ponies. it seems i'm not constant with how i draw them, least to me. i don't know... :I all the pony art is my first time with animals, period. so i'm still learning. though i do miss human anatomy... -sighs-
