i remember that my dad used to make scenes like this when i was young... looking at this makes me very nostalgic about childhood days. the scenery denotes calmness and halcyonic serenity.. makes me wanna go to the beach!!

They're not exactly very easy for me to work with. XD
Mostly because I can't figure out how to get the paint nice and even on pictures, it always looks blotty. Could you give me tips for that?

Try pulling some of the water out off the paper with a paper towel. I also use a very small brush for pretty much everything... usually a size 2 or 4. That way there's less water.
